At APIVITA, as the sense of giving and social solidarity is deeply rooted in our DNA, we donated our products to the COVID-19 crisis front-line heroes, those who in these difficult times selflessly fulfill the most important task, the care of our fellow human beings. APIVITA employees volunteered to prepare more than 25.000 products that were sent to 4.500 employees of three Greek Hospitals in Athens, Crete, and West Macedonia. This symbolic gift reflects the gratitude of each one of the 300 APIVITA employees to the medical and nursing staff of the country for their tough and uninterrupted daily battle.

Due to the special conditions we have been experiencing in recent weeks, hygiene is more important than ever. For this reason we donated personal hygiene APIVITA products (shampoos, shower gels, soaps) at the Athens Nursing Home, the Social & Political Welfare Structures Network of the Municipality of Thessaloniki as well as the "Love Dinner" which continues its excursions to neighborhoods of Athens by providing items essential to 200 homeless people.

The top priority has always been the welfare, safety, and health of our employees. Proactively since March 8th, we took specific preventive measures, such as working from home, to avoid the risk of developing or spreading the disease. At the same time, we safeguarded the continuous operation of our factory and laboratories, fully aligned to the instructions of the Ministry of Health, the National Organization of Public Health, and the World Health Organization.

The PUIG group that APIVITA has been a proud member since 2017, has assigned its fragrance factory in Barcelona to exclusively produce hand sanitizer gels, which are offered to the Spanish government to cover the needs of hospitals across the country.
