APIVITA Participates in the IUBMB/FEBS Anti-Aging Conference

APIVITA is participating in a famous international conference in the field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology– the Joint IUBMB/FEBS Advanced Lectures Course “Molecular targets for anti-aging interventions”– taking place in Spetses, Greece from September 26th to October 1st, 2022.
The Spetses Conferences/Summer Schools date back to 1966 and have been kept as a series of well-known scientific lecture courses until to date. Over the years, over 500 different lecturers have participated (including more than 15 Nobel laureates) to teach more than 5000 young pre- and post-doctoral researchers.
This Advanced Course will focus on the “Molecular targets for anti-aging interventions”. Aging, age-related disorders and anti-aging interventions are the subjects of general importance. The scientific program covers a wide range of issues related to aging, including lectures on fundamental biological principles and basic signaling pathways involved in the aging process and age-related diseases. Leading scientists from academia (Sorbonne Université,Pasteur Institute, University of California, University of Bologna, Erasmus University), but also from the industry (Novartis, Youdim Pharmaceuticals), participate as speakers.
Dr Konstantinos Gardikis and Sophia Athanasopoulou, as invited speakers, will present APIVITA's breakthrough skin delivery systems and molecular targets for the assessment of their bioactivity in human skin. APIVITA will participate also with a poster presentation of the new, patented skin delivery system from Vitis vinifera leaves and propolis that enhances skin fibroblasts functionality in a revolutionary way.
