On Friday, May 11, the APIVITA owners, Mr. Nikos and Mrs. Niki Koutsianas, were really happy to welcome the Senior Lecturer Tatiana Kolovou and her twenty students from the Kelley School of Business in their home. The US students came to Greece in terms of an international business course to present APIVITA their recommendations on the best way to increase brand awareness in the US through the use of social media.

Sea lavender is a halophyte, also known as Statice, or Immortal Blue and is of exceptional longevity, never fades. Sea Lavender bears the Latin name Limonium gerberi.

This marine plant is mainly found in salt water marshes and flowers from July to September in carpets of a magnificent blue. It has many flowers grouped out of unilateral spikes. It has the particularity to reject the salt by the lower face of its leaves so forming small crystals which we can easily observe. The genus Limonium is found in all over the world. The greatest diversity is recorded in the area stretching from the Canary Islands through the Mediterranean region.
